Lithuania’s transitional period for crypto-asset service providers ended
Operators registered under the previous Lithuanian regime for virtual currency exchange and wallet services lost the right to continue on that basis. Continuing to provide crypto-asset services in Lithuania now requires an authorisation under the regulation, held either in Lithuania or in another member state.
